Getting back into summer shape is tough.
My overall goals are running faster for longer (duh?)
It’s also tough to know what exactly to do to get stronger and faster without any real coaching. That’s why I’ve been reading a lot more lately to ensure that I’m not doing anything that could get myself injured.
A big thing I think I could benefit from is doing an actual warm up.
Usually I want to just start going, but warming up will help prevent my heart rate from jumping to fast- and hopefully help me be more efficient.
I’ll keep you posted with what I do for a warm up and how it affects my time.
