Banana “Ice Cream”

July 13, 2012 by Georgie @ The Long Run

This is my new favorite snack, frozen blended banana with a little skim (almond or soy) milk!

It’s as simple as that and totally delish! (creamy&sweet&refreshing)

I usually like to eat at least 1.5 hours before I go out otherwise the food slows me down. (but everyone’s different)

Ingredients:

  • frozen banana
  • splash (4oz) of either skim, soy or almond milk
  • dash of cinnamon (optional)

Put frozen banana in small bullet (or similar) blender cup fill 3/4 with milk, screw on blade top and blend till smooth, ad cinnamon blend and enjoy!

I usually eat it with a spoon unless it melts and then I’ll drink the rest.
