I plan my runs a little in advance based on my schedule at work. For example, days when I have a double (with a 1.5 hr break between) I’ll run 3 miles and days I only work until 5pm I try to run over 5 miles. Hopefully the 3 milers end up being faster paced and help me work on speed.
