There’s no doubt I have a major sweet tooth. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my veggies but given the option between sweet and savory I’ll pick sweet any day. I’m also I late night snacker by nature, but I try not to indulge too often because it can quickly escalate *hides secret candy corn stash.*
Luckily I found the perfect post-dinner, sweet and spicy treat that doesn’t cause too much damage. Drum roll….. candied, uncrystalized ginger (I get mine from Trader Joe’s).
It’s the perfect pallet cleanser and I can’t chow on a ton of it because it’s spicy so I usually don’t over do it. I know ginger isn’t everyone’s slice of cake (see what I did there?) but if you’re feeling adventurous give it a try!
