July 31, 2013 by Georgie @ The Long Run

WIAW HighlightsMy favorite eats from the week!

WIAW Highlights

  1. Post-workout breakfast: Coconut Cashew Quest Bar and Fuji Apple and a sample pack of Energy Bits which I can’t wait to try out and review!
  2. Healthy Chipotle Bowl from the Her Campus Conference last Sunday: Brown Rice, Tomato Salsa, Corn Salsa, Black Beans, Lettus and Guacamole
  3. My Favorite Just Salad Creation: Kale, Spinach, Edamame, Walnuts, Lentils, Corn and Avocado with Spicy Peanut Dressing.
  4. Birthday Dinner Seafood Salad: Cold Calamari, Muscles, Shrimp and Octopus with Onions, Lemon Juice & Celery
  5. Birthday Froyo Explosion: Peanut Butter, Birthday Cake and Tart Yogurt with Raspberries, Coconut and Mochi with drizzles of Peanut Butter and Marshmallow

I’ll leave you with this slightly creepy, goofy bobble head plank pic from a sweaty Monday gym sesh.

(lately it’s been all about the yellow workout gear)

WIAW HighlightsOh and this:WIAW HighlightsQuestions:

  1. What’s your go-to froyo toppings? Or are you a purist?
  2. Seafood: Love it or hate it?
  3. Salads rock – what are the 4 BEST ingredients?

PB yoghurt (and PB anything else) is my favorite! Sometimes I try to mix it up but I always go back to it.

top 4 (very tough to narrow to 4?!) salad ingredients
    beets
    avocado
    arugula/rocket greens
toss-up>hard-boiled eggs or edamame (GMO-free is hard to find)

Sounds like my kind of salad. Mind you I shouldn’t have limited the toppings to 4 because there are about 1000 I love!

Oh I wish I had a froyo place near me, that looks incredible! I always love cookie or brownie bites on mine!

It’s dangerous being in the city where you can’t avoid them! You can’t go wrong with cookies and brownies.

Great plank photo, you inspired me to start doing them as well. I have a few on my blog. Seafood = love it, shrimp and calamari are the best!

I’ve gotta give all the credit for bobble head planks to Cori at http://olivetorun.com/. Glad you’re a fellow seafood lover 🙂

I had pretty much the exact same Chipotle meal on Wednesday. Love it!

My favourite fro yo toppings are chocolate chips, Oreo bits, and coconut!

As long as there’s a rockin’ guac ratio I’m all about it!
This summer I’ve become obsessed with coconut. It’s the perfect topping at weigh-and-pay places because it’s so light.
