That’s Ok. It’s Better.

August 4, 2013 by Georgie @ The Long Run

Sometimes you work hard. Really hard. But nothing seems to work, nothing is changing and you start to wonder if it’s worth the blood, sweat and tears.

It's Better.

But something keeps you going. Something won’t let you quit. Deep down, you know it’s worth the pain and the dead ends. You’re not sure when that breakthrough will come, but you feel it in your gut.

I guess your gut is all you’ve got to trust in the end.

It's Better.

If you follow that impulse, that drive that wakes you up hungry every morning and leaves you craving more every night before you go to sleep, then something must be working.

But here’s the trickiest part: keeping your eyes and your heart open.

It's Better.

Because what we need, what we really want can come to us in strangest ways, ways we might not recognize if we’re not paying attention.

It's Better.

So keep going. Stay hungry. Get uncomfortable. That’s when you’re building something.

It might not be what you set out to build. That’s ok. It’s better.

It's Better.
