Practicing Gratitude Year Round

November 28, 2013 by Georgie @ The Long Run

Today’s post is short and sweet. While I’m sure you’re hearing this from all sides today, gratitude is one of the best gifts we can give to ourselves.

Something I want to work on is practicing gratitude daily, because I know how lucky I am and a little gratitude each morning can shape an entire day.

Here are the top 5 things I’m grateful for in 2013

  1. My health: Both physical and mental. I’ve never been happier in my own skin.gratitude
  2. The opportunities I’ve had to travel and live in amazing cities.gratitudeIMG_2151photo 3photo 4
  3. My family – I might be biased, but they’re the best.gratitude gratitudegratitudeIMG_0434
  4. New and old friends- even though I’m the worst at staying in touch I think of you all the time.gratitudegratitude gratitudegratitudegratitude
  5. My amazing experiences at Ithaca College and the education and opportunities I’m recieving there.gratitude

Question Time:

  • What are have you been grateful for this year?

I’m grateful to have children(of all ages) in my life- my own, my relatives & friends children, as well as the wonders I work with. They all represent where I have been, where I am standing, and my (and all of ours) future. Truly blessed
