First of all, thank you for your kind words on yesterday’s post about “before & afters” on Facebook and in the comments. I’m always a bit nervous when I open up or discuss body image issues, but I think they need to be discussed and I’m so gratified to hear that others feel the same way.
So after all that talking from yesterday I’ll stick to showing you pretty pictures of the food I ate. I haven’t gone grocery shopping in 2 weeks so I’m attempting to do a bit of a fridge sweep. You might notice the lack of a usual bowl of yogurt, in it’s place is a big bowl of smoothie and it was a welcome change. The results were surprisingly delicious:
Breakfast: Definitely WAY prettier than Monday’s Ultimate Green Smoothie and pretty tasty too – topped her off with a lil granola and some PERFECT raspberries.
Lunch: 3 pop cakes (basically a massive pop chip) with 1/2 an avocado & an apple (pink lady of course)
Dinner: Salmon Over Salad with Peppers, Tomatos, Pepitas, Cashews and Arugala
Dessert: Granola (yes there’s a lot of it around these parts) Chocolate Hemp Milk (which I won a crap ton of from another blog) Almond butter, Raspberries and Coconut
Not pictured: I had almonds, another apple and a kind bar in between breakfast and lunch
