Watermelon Pear Lime Cooler

August 22, 2014 by Georgie @ The Long Run

One of the coolest parts of my job at Bai has been working on recipes for the website. When we launched our new site last month each flavor’s product page needed a recipe (and subsequent photos).

I noticed there wasn’t anyone lined up to do this so… I just kind of jumped in and became the unofficial recipe photographer.

One recipe we’re working on involves pear and watermelon (among other things) and it got me pretty inspired to whip up my own little creation. It’s super simple and wicked delicious. Pear is the perfect flavor to transition from summer to fall. Speaking of fall I can’t freakin’ wait. Growing up I always used to love summer, but going to school in upstate New York really opened my eyes to how perfect fall is. In fact I even wrote a blog post about it here. And I’m probably going to write another… just sayin.

Ingredients

  • ~ 1 Congo Pear Bai (you might have to take a few sips off the top)
  • 6 small cubes of watermelon
  • Squeeze of lime juice
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Optional (~*jazz*~ it up with a shot of white rum)

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender (I used my magic bullet).
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into your favorite glass, garnish with lime wedge.
  4. Enjoy!

  • What foods do you associate with summer? Fall?
