Have your toast and eat it too with these 4 creative ways to spice up your favorite avocado combo.
Choices, choices, choices. I love ‘em. I hate ‘em. Mostly I hate to love them… or is it I love to hate them? Ok, what I’m really trying to say is I have a hard time making choices. Making choices that involve other people? Ugh, forget about it, but that’s a topic for another day.
What does this have to do with avocado toast? My friend, everything. These 4 Ways to Make Avocado Toast are perfect for all ma peeps out there who ain’t got no time to stress over all of life’s choices… like what to put on avocado toast.
My solution for avocado toast toppings is quite simple, really: everything. Ok, not everything. But these four avo-creations will ease your worried decision-paralyzed heart.
About the Avocado Toasts:
Egg & Chili Flake Avocado Toast
A spicy take on a classic avocado toast combo. There’s something pretty transformative about runny yoke on creamy avocado that you just have to taste to believe. The chili flakes take this toast to a whole other level adding that extra kick you didn’t even know you needed… until you got it.
Blackberry & Honey Avocado Toast
Berries and honey with avocado? I know, crazy right? But go with me here. Avocado is pretty neutral in taste and with a touch of sweet and tart from the honey and blackberries this combination is straight up dreamy. Consider it your dessert avocado toast
Arugula Avocado Toast
The perfect avocado toast for when you can’t get enough green. Arugula is the perfect compliment to avocado because it’s a slightly bitter leaf but packs a flavorful punch. Ideal when you wanna keep it simple, but also flavorful as hell.
Hemp & Chia Seed Avocado Toast
This avocado toast is all about the texture experience. The combination of chia and hemp seeds add a delightful (and nutritional) crunch to the creamy

All about the avocado toast…I really want to try the combo that Jess shared on her blog…It was avocado with roasted garlic…OMG it looked AMAZINGLY delicious! Happy Monday friend! XOXO
Mmm I love that idea!
LOVE avo-toast! I’m a huge fan of The Almond Eater’s avo-toast with a drizzle of honey and flaky sea salt on top. 🙂 I have such a hard time making decisions when it comes to food. If you’re with me at a restaurant I always have to order last because there’s always two options I can never decide between! Lol
Haha same – my strategy is always creeping on other people’s orders/foods to help me choose
Love these unique but delish combos! I need to go the sweet route and try the blackberry honey version 🙂
Thanks girl! It’s fun switching up the flavor combos
So I want a do-over with my breakfast after seeing this. SO beautiful!
Heheh avo will do that to ya <3
I seeee what you did there… 😉 #BGBInstaChallenge These are gorgeous!!!! Let’s make a toast indeed!
Guuurl you know – just be toastin’ erryday
I tried honey and black pepper on avocado toast for the first time per a reader’s suggestion and, though I was a bit skeptical, it was actually pretty tasty. My forever fav combo will just be avo+red pepper flakes.
Oo that does sound interesting! Nothing beats the classic
I can’t decide which one to try first! They all look and sound so good, I definitely need to switch up my avocado toast game.
Nothing is wrong with the classic but toppings just make everything more fun
I seriously had my first avo toast a few weeks ago, but I’m seriously hooked! You can’t go wrong with a runny yolk and red pepper flakes 😉
Probably my favorite combo of all time
Ooh wow, I love that you channeled your avocado love into a toast idea post. 🙂 I JUST had avocado toast last week, and it was AMAZING. I can’t wait to try out one of these combos.
It’s never too late to try avo toast – isn’t it totally worth the hype?!
These are all great ideas! Thanks!
My pleasure!
I still haven’t had avocado toast. Whoops.
Once you go avo-toast it’s hard to go back 😉
These are some combinations that I would have never thought about! I just tried avo on toast for the first time a few days ago with an over easy egg on top and it was so good!
Nothing beats the avo-egg combo
Absolutely love these! I could eat avocado toast every. single. day. if only I could keep enough ripe avocados in the house! I have yet to try the sweet avo toast combo – need to get on that! Blackberries and strawberries are on my to-try toppings list!
I never thought sweet would be good but it’s such a nice combo
Ahh I feel like we were on the same brain waves this past week cause I literally just posted about avocado toast…about all the “life lessons” I’ve gotten from it haha! I’ve never tried the blackberry honey version, but honey on avo definitely sparks my interest
Totally twinning (over the best toast ever)
Decisions are so difficult for me! And now I have even more avocado options to work with :O 🙂
Haha who knows if this was a good thing or not – haha
Georgie! Your pictures are incredible! I’ve always thought your photography was great but these are especially amazing.
Oh yeah, and your avocado toasts look pretty delicious, too. I love all of your creative combos.
Aww thank you so much Liv!
I absolutely hate making decisions that affect/involve other people. My friends hate it, but I literally just can’t. Same thing with toast. I put all the things on it.
Pinned for the next time I decide to have toast, aka prob tomorrow
Girl I totally feel you – it’s next to impossible to make group decisions
