Blog Update: Changes & What to Expect Next

August 17, 2016 by Georgie @ The Long Run

Hi Friends!

Georgie

Coming at ya with a short ‘lil update. If you read last week’s post about blogger burnout you maybe you guessed that there are going to be some *pretty big* changes around these parts very soon.

Right now I’m focusing all my energies on the exciting future of In it 4 the Long Run, so I’m announcing a two week hiatus from new posts until the end of August.

In the meantime, I’m still (very) active on Instagram and Snapchat (@georgiemo) so I’d love love to connect with you there!

As I’m creating new content for this new stage of In it 4 the Long Run, let me know if there are things you’d like to see more/less of.

If you’re jonesing for some more Long Run Goodness perhaps I can point you in the direction of a couple of my favorite posts:

  • I Tried to be Cool and it Totally Backfired – In this post, I talk about my biggest dating mistake
  • Finding My Happy Weight and Learning to Be Happy With It – Sharing a huge milestone in recovery, finding a happy weight
  • Recovery is Real – A Letter to My 20-Year Old Self – Maybe the hardest post I’ve ever had to write
  • Why Connection is the Most Important Part of Blogging – Something I wish I had known my first year of blogging

Your Turn

  • What are you up to?! Tell me one (or two or three) things you’ve loved about August so far!

Glad you’re taking a break from blogging for your mental health and for refocusing content. So important! I’ve loved being in Boston this month! Boston is such an incredible city and I made so many new friends and connections through my dance intensive. Can’t wait to go back! 🙂

I’m excited to see the changes! 🙂 Things I’m loving about August: petsitting a really cute dog, my sister coming home from Myanmar, and the fact that my internship ends next week! (It’s been fun but afterwards we are off to Hawaii so how could I not be excited about that?!)
